Cowboy Stew - Crock Pot




Mmmm... nothing better than some stew to fill you up on a cool fall day.
This stew is simple to make and will be a nice reward after a hard days work.
I teamed this with some delicious rolls (recipe to follow in another post) that made the meal oh.so.good.
I don't remember who gave me this recipe but I have to say I am sure glad that they did!

Cowboy Stew


Serving Size: 6 Preparation Time: 8 hrs

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
1 1/4 pounds beef stew meat -- make sure it is lean
4 large potatoes -- cubed
1 cup onion -- sliced
28 ounces pork and beans

  • Mix beef, potatoes, and onions in slow cooker.
  • Spread beans over the mixture.
  • Cover and cook on low for 8 hrs.
  • Enjoy!!
