I am working on the post about our long hike, I have not forgotten but I did take some pictures of some of the lakes here.
One thing that is really making news here is how bad our drought is.
We snapped a few pictures of the lakes yesterday; you can really see how low they are.
The meteorologists were calling for rain all day today, and everyone was holding out hope for some.
The sky would darken up, look really threatening and then blow over us.
*sigh*
Nope, another day with no rain and I wonder if we will ever any here.
There was rain south and east of us but nothing here.
Maybe we might have stray thunderstorm this coming week.
We can only hope!
